Nokia, Windows Phone 7 e Microsoft …saranno sposi?

Il recente accordo tra Nokia e Microsoft per l’utilizzo di Windows Phone 7 sui loro dispositivi ha scatenato un mare di discussioni intorno al mercato delle telecomunicazioni.

Ho letto in un post in particolare, una voce internazionale, ventilare l’ipotesi di un possibile futuro acquisto da parte di Microsoft di Nokia che ha gettato nel secchio Symbian, sistema vecchio ed incapace di competere con Android ed Apple.

Non capisco questa scelta di Nokia. Non capisco perché stanno mollando. Symbian andava risviluppato forse anche da zero, ma non abbandonato. Non capisco soprattutto perché nel momento in cui si progettava uno sviluppo in chiave opensource del sistema la comunità mondiale degli sviluppatori non abbia aderito con maggior entusiasmo di quello mostrato per i contributi su Android.

Symbian è un patrimonio da salvaguardare, da riscrivere, ma

I read in one post in particular, an international voice, ventilate the hypothesis of a possible future acquisition by Microsoft that Nokia has thrown in the bucket Symbian, old system and unable to compete with Android and Apple.

I do not understand this choice of Nokia. 

I do not understand why they are giving up. Symbian was perhaps even re-development from scratch, but not abandoned. 

Mainly I do not understand when a plan was a key development in open source system the global community of developers has not adhered to the one shown more enthusiasm for the contributions on Android.

Symbian is a heritage to preserve, to be rewritten, but
maintaining it is to keep alive another competitor for Apple and Android!

I do not understand then how can there be so much enthusiasm on the part of professionals to (a single device manufactured by Apple) iPhone 4. All excited! Let’s face it is not very good! Do not you agree? I do not have to change your mind and in fact is a terminal of success, but not that great even if it cost half (with the exception of the display).

Android is famous to allocate a very high consumption of batteries (not an unsolvable problem) but this is not a matter of little consequence.

Each competitor has his own issues…

In other words, Nokia like many companies in this moment of crisis is “putting a man still alive under ground”!

Ripristinare pannelli di Gnome dopo modifiche ed errori

Ho trovato in rete un utile comando per ripristinare i pannelli di Gnome Desktop (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, …) ai valori di default dopo modifiche che hanno generato errori o risultati indesiderati.

Occorre aprire il terminale o semplicemente digitare ALT+F2 ed impartire il comando seguente:

1. gconftool-2 -u –recursive-unset /apps/panel

sembra ancora non succeda nulla ma con ALT+F2 riaprite la finestra per digitare ancora:

2. killall gnome-panel

MAGIA! Il problema è stato risolto!

I’ve recently installed the new versions of NetQin Mobile Guard and Mobile Antivirus,  respectively an antimalware and an antivirus for mobile users. What a big surprise for me that were found certain malware files, because I was sure that my system was clean!

Now I’ve received the following e-mail.

Domain of sender is “comunicadigitale.info” and domain of link “photoflicker.info”.

I’ve had immediately a suspect of possible virus or malware and so I choosed to verify administrative contact and registrar before clicking…

My suspects became very great and now I’m sure this could be a trick to distribute malware.

Do not open e-card if you are not sure about the sender address!!!
